Blackfoot Immersion Day Camps

Open to all those Piikani Youth who are double vaccinated,
Open to Youth/Young Adults 12 – 25 Years

When: 3 Days-December 29, 30, 31, 2021

Where: Napi’s Playground Elementary School Gym

Come out and enjoy 3 days of cultural knowledge, stories and activities all immersed in our Blackfoot Language.

  • All participants must be double vaccinated
  • Must show proof of vaccination
  • NO EXCEPTIONS

***Breakfast, snacks and lunch provided each day with a feast to follow on the last day with the participants.

Blackfoot Immersion Day Camps

Open to all Piikani Youth:

  • 9 years old- 16 years old
  • 17 years old- 25 years old

When:
Day Camp 1 – July 26 -July 29
Day Camp 2 – August 09 – August 12
Day Camp 3 – August 16 – August 19

Where: Multi-Purpose Building
Come out and enjoy 5 days of cultural knowledge, stories and activities all immersed in our Blackfoot Language.

  • Breakout sessions with Elders
  • Traditional Crafts and food
  • Traditional Games
  • Tipi Raising Demonstrations
  • Guest Speakers
  • Dance Demonstrations

Breakfast, snacks and lunch provided each day with a feast to follow on the last day with the participants and their families.

Everyone must show a negative Covid-19 test result to be allowed in the camp.
