Terms of Reference

The School Act gives parents the right, through PAC’s, to assume the advisory role in our Piikani schools. PAC is officially recognized as a collective voice for parents of our two schools A PAC, through its appointed parents, advises the principal of the school.

PAC’s are forums within Piikani Schools, to discuss matters affecting your school and the education of our Piikani children. Parent’s voices are a tremendous value to our school. Parents offer a wealth of ideas and support the challenges that face Piikani schools. PAC’s strive to represent the diversity within our community and contribute to the success of all students by:

• Providing opportunities to educate & inform parents about the school
• Involving parents in volunteer activities
• Openly discuss parent’s aspirations for our schools
